I got pulled over for speeding and the officer was understandably interested in why I was driving a car with a Colorado plate, California insurance and an Ohio drivers license. Or maybe it was a California registration, Colorado insurance and an Ohio drivers licence. Anyway it was some combination that involved all three states.

He was very nice and after I showed him my leave papers he told me to slow down and sent us on our way. We were married shortly after on my in-laws back deck by a local judge just before I had to report back to SD.

that's a great story...i'd like to hear more about that "assume the tire blow out crash position" though

:)

reminds me of when i was pulled over for speeding ( once in utah and once in nevada) with an out of state license, and both times the officers asked me why i was driving alone with an out of state license..lol...

i explained well you see, officer, i'm just exploring the west.. and both gave me a pass and a friendly warning....my obi-wan kenobi skills apparently were still working well enough with the troopers....
