U.S. stock investors are likely to get a respite this week from concern about slowing growth in faraway lands as trading desks empty and volatility moderates ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. Markets will be shut down Thursday and close three hours early on Friday. That will give investors their first extended break following the wildest month for stocks in a decade. Highlights included records for the biggest one-day decline in points, one-day rally in points and total for trades executed.
