LOL.. not according to my kids.. I have a 5+ year old 'Sansa' mp3 player.. Works for me.. I own no iProducts.. my kids both have iPods.. so it means my 12 year old has WiFi internet at home and in hotels when at a tournament or ski race.. My daughter though still prefers her iPod/ dumphone with keyboard combo.. She has a MacBookPro... a very very nice machine.. but it screwed her over on a failed backup... no notification... cost her a lot of data... EDIT: BTW I hear many folks complain that they are always in contact now... I find that my smart phone is actually a freedom machine for me.. I do not need to sit home and babysit a trade for example.. I guess it is what you make of it :O) I was cooking dinner last night watching this on it with an add on speaker :O)
