Clearly something is going on with the weather. The problem for those of us who want to garden close to the coast in North Carolina is that the summer months will become unbearable for most vegetables. It was amazing we got salad greens out of the garden all winter. I think I only covered them with plastic three nights all winter because they were the only nights it got below freezing. This could wreak havoc on farmers. And it will probably mean more volatile storm fronts. Let's just hope it doesn't effect the Gulf Stream.
