Please understand, though, that there is a difference between being unproductive and being nonproductive. Unproductive is doing nothing on purpose. Nonproductive is the art of achieving nothing while attempting to do something. And, counterproductive is actually worse than that.

So, until you find your own special talent for being nonproductive, please think about it. That way, instead of doing nothing you'll at least be doing something (kinda') so you won't be seen as a freeloader. Freeloading is not tolerated.

Josef: By the way, you joined the company too late this month to qualify for the "I did the most to produce the least" award. You'll have to wait until next month to compete in the contest.

I believe Joe C is the current leader for this month's award. After all, reading all those zillion SI posts has to be considered one of the least productive tasks ever attempted. A new world's record!
