I strongly agree, Geoff. Unfortunately, we have to know that we are beyond the tipping point since about 47% do not pay any income tax.

When you add in all those who receive government wages, pensions and perks, which are usually more generous than in the private sector, it sure doesn't look good for the future.

Well, I don't know for sure, of course, but I imagine it would spell the end of life here in the USA as we have known it to be up to now ... and to me it is scary that, to me anyway, the media has been very friendly toward Romney, and pushed his nomination from the start, and very biased against Santorum, Gingrich (whoopee!) and Paul, and they just totally kneecapped Cain from the get-go, who was my original preference. I don't trust that at all. I fear another 'sacrificial lamb' like McCain was in 2008.

No way I can accept the Republican Party actually thought McCain could win that election.

I'm getting older, and am less surprised at the stupidity of people in general on a near daily basis. While I hope, with every bone in my body, that Obama gets beat in November ..... I fear some sort of "October Surprise" ... either some big 'discovery' on Romney that will severely weaken his candidacy, or some big move on the part of the administration to delay or otherwise hamper the elective process.

Yep, many will call me crazy - indeed many have before! (LOL) ... but I'm just glad I have no children or grandchildren who will have to grow up in the 'new' USA. Even with what's already been done, life has changed tremendously since 2008 ... we're just not aware of everything that has happened because it is not yet directly affecting us.

It is definitely time to get out and 'shake up the vote' ...in favor of the conservative candidate.

"It's the economy, Stupid" worked in 1992, helped by having Ross Perot as a syphoning off 3rd party candidate, and it almost always works. Are you scared the economy is getting stronger?

The American people will not support a candidate or a Party who roots for the economy to turn down.
