Khan academy is great! I volunteer tutoring kids math in my area, i will say that it would be much harder for me (not just teaching but learning!) if it were not for kahn academy, the simplicity is incredible. Internet isnt always reliable for the kids, but i push them to the site every chance i get. When im working out stock ideas in my head i use the same kind of simple thought process, i really like to draw on relationships...... i like to be able to draw it out on paper (simple minded i suppose!) Have not checked out the investing videos yet, but def worth a look.

thanks so much for bringing this site to my attention. i will explore it in detail. this has been a trying time for me and my perceived value portfolio. cmp-un.to is a close end canadian fund and the discount just keeps widening now around 35%. and its not like they havent performed . aab.to continue to sell at a big discount too best as i can tell though they do have a concentrated position in sulliden gold, and the stock performance there has not been good.
