Dale: I am also worried about capital crunch in Asian countries where companies used high leverage (debt:equity = 3:1, as compared to US's 1:1) to invest in US stock. It is like margin buying and they have lost equity, so have the banks. BOJ/IMF and other international financial institutions will force Asian banks to follow international capital standards and lending guidelines. Asian companies will be forced to divest their US stock holdings. I do not think QNTM will come under that selling pressure, but many other companies will face the problem in addition to corporate profit shrinkage.

I am totally loaded up on Quantum. I bought my shares at 19 and sold half of my position at 36. Repurchased position at 28 1/2 and also loaded up on Call Options with strike prices of 27 1/2 and 30 with Exp. of February. If Quantum hits 40 by February I will be a happy camper.

Anyone else bought any calls this past week?
