The revolting NY Times placed a photo of the backyard of soldier Bales home in Lake Tapps WA on the front page of the iPad edition

I am in no way condoning all of that soldier's alleged actions.

Effective loyalty starts at the top not at the bottom. If it doesn't start at the top it never happens at the bottom. Every serving American Soldier's family will be watching this case.

I will say this, we must give that soldier and his family credit for the sacrifices he made during 4 intense combat tours on behalf of our national defense, and his confirmed combat brain injury, that may have been ignored or improperly treated, or not accounted for.

For American serviceman and women and their families, killing humans in war is never a gratifying business. Ya'll need to get that.

Today, the thrill of battlefield killing only belongs to American politicians like Obama and Biden. In other words only those who never shoot,.
.
Whether he is convicted by court-martial or not, we owe this soldier's wife and kids some gratitude and family support for their sacrifice during 4 combat tours and his service. And we owe him too. We must not allow him to become a Karzai victim.

If he is convicted, I hope we all will reach out to his family.
