Think ponoke doesn't think sometimes & gets caught up in cut n paste like the others ,his premise that there were unwanted children that matured into famous creative persons isn't resembling whats really going on (we do not know either way with da Vinci or maybe he does, where does he get this stuff ?? ) . The fact is and would be accurate to say that out of that one special case a 1000 unwanted children are doomed to to mal adjustment , emotional stunting & never really adapting socially . One thing can be said of the village raising the child idea (or your father has connections at Harvard , monied , good lawyers etc etc ) , it does offer that surrogate but in modern societies today if you lose your support network you are doomed especially if it starts right from birth home, in poverty , its sayonara for most though one baby might be so lucky to overcome it . What we don't hear about is the 1000 that live mostly dysfunctional sad torn barely functional lives or one just looks to the US prison population for partial verification .
