I forgot to say one thing: So long as anyone is still an American citizen (and up to something like five years or so even after renouncing US citizenship I think), regardless of if someone lives in the US or overseas (except for a floor amount of income from working overseas that is tax exempt...), and unlike most other countries in the world which have 'territorial' income tax schemes, the US - in it's infinite wisdom <g> - taxes all of your income 'globally', even that derived from overseas sources. Uncle Sammy wants to get paid.....
