Well help us out Eric. Show us a link to all of those subsidies - and especially a description of how they compare to other industries. I would be particularly interested in how they compare to those given to the companies of the leftist billionaires. Any factual explanation (eg ROIs out of line with other corporate America) of why oil and gas should be treated differently from other corporate enterprises would be appreciated.

Bob

Eric,

I Googled "IRS Subsidies to oil companies" and looked at the first 20 items. Of these only 4 of them had anything like numbers in them. The rest were just hype and opinion. The four that has some useful information are:

mjperry.blogspot.com

thinkprogress.org

hotair.com

elistore.org

I am still as uneducated on this subject as before. Can you please give me some help in finding the "IRS stats on the subject?"

Thanks,

JRH

P.S. one of the articles said that the "subsidies" were not real subsidies, but rather tax deductions that all industries are able to use, e.g. depreciation, foreign tax credits, etc. Is this true?

P.P.S. I am seriously trying to learn, I do not have a political agenda here. I will appreciate your help.
