“....adding that the state of Israel is the future of the Jewish people, and that Jews should not trust their fate to “Sarkozy, Obama or other world leaders.” This sounds cool, but for a small nation there is no getting away from the big boys. Iran is moving closer towards having nukes. This will - inevitably - happen, because Sarkozy, Obama and other "great powers" walked away from their responsibilities as guarantors of non-proliferation. Sometimes it seems that the entire world is waiting and hoping that Israel will solve this problem - like they did with Saddam's reactor back in 1981. I tend to agree with B. Rubin that this is unlikely to happen. We better get ready for that strange, new world.
