Actually I think 3Com really doesn't know either. I can't think of any reason why they would leave everyone totally in the dark if they knew. Analysts are kinda grasping at straws and 3Com itself will only start getting the picture in the next couple of weeks (remember USR booked nearly half of sales in the last month of a quarter). We know modem sales aren't strong but how that plays out and how the inventory adjustment factors in is anyone's guess. My fingers are crossed.
