We fought an incredibly bitter War after being attacked by Japan in the last century , a war that found almost universal hatred for the "Japs" here from sea to shining sea in the US . And yet after the passage of time & even some wise fellows saw back then even after bloody encounter , bloody encounter & so much loss in mortal combats ..we find ourselves respecting , loving them again & our allies . How does this happen , because god is a loving god ? Or that "humanist" men & women have found reason to effect change ? Think for yourself for a change , why do things like this come about ? (new thoughts , new generations , passing of time ) And outside of your little church , these are no small things ...beyond religion but part of greater human nature .

"You would rather they be groomed like the Greeks, than taught to love God and love their neighbors as themselves?" You are setting up a false dichotomy (more of your deliberate dishonesty). I have said nothing about indoctrinating people with any ancient cultures. I believe people should have the best of civilized ideas and modern education in the arts and sciences. The bible is not a civilized book. It is a book of superstitious myth that happens to contain some good in a lot of bad. It epitomises indoctrinating people* in an ancient pre-scientific bronze age culture.* I think we should make use of 2000 years of education and civilization in order to honor a better society than one available to barbarians who believed in demons and cured problems by dabbing their ears and toes and thumbs with fresh flowing blood from butchered creatures.
