For the benefit of potential investors becoming aware of BROC's potential for the first time, here is the url to their third quarter results. Please note this GOOD NEWS was overlooked due to the 500 point downturn in the market which occured that very day!

Roger, I'm curious to know the facts behind your optimism. Yes, BROC has been a player in the SFA market. Yes, the NetGain product is pretty slick. Yes, buying NetGain may help BROC change its image.

But, it is not clear to me why NetGain will succeed, in the face of strong participation in the SFA market of Vantive, Siebel, Scopus/CWC, Trilogy etc. Other than NetGain's slick product, what does BROC have going for it. Even if one grants NetGain a slight technological lead (by no means a consensus opinion), BROC has not demonstrated that it has any competitive advantage in marketing, sales or executive management. Good products alone do not make big companies.
