What's stupid is your suggestion that AMD is secretly buying Pentiums, sanding and remarking them as K6's and then selling them at a 25% discount to the unsuspecting public.

I have not implied anything, nor have I suggested; I am telling. There are no wish-washy implications in there that I can see. It's obvious that you're pretty sharp and the fact that you find my claims incredulous enough to openly challenge them certainly justifies a reexamination on my part. That's really one of the benefits of these fora: when somebody posts something that just doesn't make sense or sounds crazy, somebody like you will say "hey, wait a minute, I'm not buying that." I admire that. Are you from Sector 7 by any chance?

Here's the post again:

In order to meet existing commitments, some chips may have been sanded and restamped as K6 when they were in fact Pentiums. That probably explains the trouble-free operation of your system. BTW, do you need a bridge?

Kevin K Spurway, It is with the same stupidity that Rod insists on commenting negativly to every post on this thread and press release only as Stockman. The source of so much negativity is undoubtly a black whole, where in lyes the inability of a positive thought to escape from his warped brain.
