It seems to me that the short interest is fairly small at this point in time.

What is important is the Short Ratio (also called days-to-cover) in this post:

You take the short interest (9.8) and divide by average daily volume (19.6) to get days-to-cover.
In this case, a half day, not much at all. Most stocks will show a couple of days to cover.
