ojai, How did you feel about ATFI yeserday? I heard from 5 ABW users that said that for a short period yesterday they were down and had to call in...I also gathered that the problem may very well have been with sprint, looking at www.internetweather.com, the numbers on sprint were ugly. I also took note that of these five traders, four of them were on a first name basis with all technical support people at ABW, which isn't really bad, but it proves they have had alot of contact.

Also, it must be common knowledge that PCQuote was just absolutley miserable yesterday. Only the quick quotes were accurate, highs and lows were reset after the first hour or so to bad numbers. So if you could comment on your AFTI yesterday that would be great.

Irby if you feel this ought to be on another thread... just say so.
I feel that choosing the right isp, hardware, software, quote service, is an important component to successful day trading. It really takes the fun out of it when you can't trust the numbers that are fed to the computer.

Thanks,

AE

Tim: I checked out Preferred Technology but I don't see a demo of the non browser version. Is there a description of it somewhere?

Tim: Nevermind I found it. Looks good very close to Real Tick III. Only problem I see is the direct order entry module - It does give you option of which execution system to use to enter your order. Is that correct?

Tim,
Could you comment on how fast Preferred Technology processes short sale orders and on the availability of shares? In fact, how fast do they execute on all types of trades?
Thanks, Bob
