There is some published research that the virtual colonoscopies are more sensitive and find more than the "real ones." I'd put my $700 cash on the table for it and have insurance pick up the cost of the physical one if anything is found.

Two more years at 40 I'm having my first. As you said, better safe than sorry.

I was just told {Aetna} that the virtual is covered as long as it is preventative.

Passed on that since, as you pointed out, the actual would be needed if anything is found.
