"You'd think that if you are on a 4G data plan with a 2 gig or less data cap and you are in iTunes and look at a movie with a 3+ gb size you'd at least be smart enough to understand you're going to get dinged." You'd think! That's why, for now, I'm still not sold on the paradigm of consumption by downloading everything when my ISP plan is capped at 60GB/month. Forget about iPad plans which offer much less! Until we all have unlimited download, only the very few can really use a product like the iPad3 with 4G for viewing all content from the cloud!
