They haven't got much choice, have they? They've gotten almost no traction with their Android tablets. Or, in the case of HP, with WebOS.

I would take this as less of a vote of confidence in Windows 8, and more of another plate of spaghetti being thrown at the wall to see if it sticks. But at least Microsoft will help them promote their tablets.
