O's father deserted him - returned to Kenya to his multiple wives - then became an alcoholic until one day, while in a drunken stupor, he died in a car accident. Somehow Barack's mother managed to replace the truth about his father with a more positive image. As a mother, she no doubt realized it's harmful to a child's psyche when their parental impressions are negative. Yes, Obama Sr's plans were for a socialist Kenya. Don't believe it's a stretch to say his son has many of the same goals for the USA. That's why he's been such a pitiful POTUS - his political beliefs are wrong-headed and unworkable.
