...and in Japan, Gary. As I write Reuters (from Tokyo Nov 24) is reporting that the Japanese Minister of Finance announced that foreign bank exposure to failed Yaemeichi Securities is "very small." However, the Minister of Finance didn't know exactly how small.

Wonder what collective foreign exposure will be to the series of bankrupts we'll be hearing about in the coming months. I'd say this is a bit more serious than, say, Mexico or Latin America.
