It just takes a spark. I hope cool heads prevail, but these are significant unresolved socio-political tensions that do not look to be calming down in the next couple years. The sparks are building...............conservatives are becoming much more open about their hate for Obama and increasingly are expressing it with racial and sexual overtones. I see this as a build up that's been going on for more than ten years if not a lot longer. I believe we are no longer one nation, indivisible, under God. What's interesting is that conservatives believe they are the only ones who are angry. Au contraire.......it took liberals a while but now there is a lot of anger on this side as well. The latest from a conservative blogger: A blogger for conservative N.C. think tank The John Locke Foundation has resigned after she illustrated a story about President Obama’s position on N.C.’s Marriage Amendment with a photoshopped image of the president in chains and high heels with a bucket of fried chicken. wfae.org
