Obama has overhauled the food safety system Nice. Did it NEED overhauling? That's a big one. Advanced women's rights in the work place Then went on to take a million bucks from the worst misogynist in the country. Ended Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT) in our military. Stopped defending DOMA in court. Great "accomplishments". He'll be remembered for these two. LOL. Passed the Hate Crimes bill. What the world needs. More laws against things that are already illegal. Appointed two pro-choice women to the Supreme Court. Two left-wing extremists, one of which has already demonstrated she has the ethics of a lab rat. Expanded access to medical care and provided subsidies for people who can't afford it.Expanded the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)Fixed the preexisting conditions travesty [and rescissions] in health insurance. Hopefully, to all be thrown out by the Supreme Court. At any rate, some of the post unpopular and corruptly enacted legislation in our nation's history. Invested in clean energy. If you can call flushing money down the toilet "investing". Overhauled the credit card industry, making it much more consumer-friendly. You have got to be kidding. His fucking VP was, more than any other person, responsible for gutting the bankruptcy protection consumers previously had from predator consumer credit organizations. GUTTED IT. Then, Obama comes back with a round of changes that credit card companies defeated within 90 days. A total piece of shit legislation that added no value, WHATSOEVER, for consumers. While Dodd-Frank bill was weak in many respects, it was still an extremely worthwhile start at re-regulating the financial sector. Another useless piece of crap. The title says it all: Dodd-Frank. That's like rubbing salt in the wound for these two, of all people, the two who CREATED the 2008 disaster, named on the bill? He created a Elizabeth Warren's dream agency: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. ROTFLMAO. Yeah, people just LOVE that. In fact, they succeeded in killing a Cap & Trade bill in the Senate after it had passed through the House. A cap & trade bill that would have further bankrupted the country in pursuit of a solution to a problem that is not even known to exist and that, in fact, even the scientific community is now starting to admit the data DOES NOT SUPPORT.
