Florida Professor Robert P. Watson who teaches American Studies at Lynn University has compiled a list of 244 accomplishments by President Obama since he took office despite fanatical Republican opposition aimed at wrecking his presidency. That's nice, but most of these "accomplishments" would not be considered accomplishments by reasonable people. Surely, you cannot seriously hope to compare "244 accomplishments" with the thousands of substantive, important things Bush did. Ask anyone in Africa what they think of GWB. As al Qaeda what they think. Ask the MILITARY what THEY think about GWB. I'm sorry, but a president for whom you can only scrape together 244 items, most of which are not accomplishments at all, but "decisions" -- this guy isn't performing. Contrast with GWB's MAJOR accomplishments -- any of which is bigger than any one thing Obama did in office (exclusive of health care, which will hopefully be thrown out by the Court or repealed, since most Americans DO NOT WANT IT and it is resulting in SOARING COSTS). - Education Reform - Africa AIDS project, a tremendously successful program which saved untold millions of lives - Medicare Part D, the first health care item in the country's history to come in UNDER budget (later destroyed by Obamacare) - Making the CORRECT decision on Stem Cells = Masterful handling of 9/11 -- the biggest single event in American History since WWII - Elimination of the threat of al Qaeda - Removal of Saddam who had been a chronic problem in the Mideast for more than 10 years and really a pain since the war with Iran. - Freedom Agenda, which Obama incompetence failed to capitalize on - The Surge, which won the war in Iraq = Tax Cuts, which increased federal revenue and saved millions of jobs - Saving the Economy with a 700 Billion dollar loan program, which under Bush didn't cost the taxpayers more than a few billion. These are a FRACTION of the Bush achievements. All HUGE by any measure, and NOT ONE of Obama's so-called "accomplishments" can even BEGIN to rank with these. Not one. Unless you count Obamacare, which the American People don't want and which have furthered the crisis of American healthcare. Really, do you have anything else?
