[Just what they need] “It’s not acceptable to give journalists a record just for putting people on the record,” she said, reflecting on the incident during a phone interview Tuesday. [What in the WORLD does that mean?] “As we move into convention season again, it’s very important that police understand the role journalists play in society.” [snip out more stupid stuff] Lately, Goodman has drawn encouragement from the involvement of people in “Occupy” demonstrations in cities across the country, including Duluth. “It’s a movement that spans race, age, class and politics,” she said. “People are genuinely concerned about how our democracy could be drowned out by money and power.” [And that is all you really need to know about the lefty bias of this "journalist".]
