In my ongoing jousts with representatives of the loony left I try to make the case that "caring" for most politicians is simply a tool to gain power and that in reality they do not give a crap as once in power they enact destructive policies to the economic well being of those they "purport to care" about. For instance, Obama "purports to care" about jobs - but when push comes to shove he will side with the wacko greens because they fund his quest for power - as he knows he has fooled the needy that he "cares". Here in Cleveland we have a Democratic mayor who is taking on the education mafia for the well being of the kids.
