The Left has this mental picture of a drunk in a bar waving a firearm. I will never forget my first experience. I was doing a lot of target shooting in 57 in San Diego so I got a license to carry from the county to avoid the "loaded guns in a locked trunk" situation. I was 23 at the time. The Office who issued me the license tried to rile me to see how temperamental I was. "You will be walking into a bar carrying, won't you?" "Oh, no no, that's not what I do." A month later I walked into my favorite bar. The waitress gave me a hug, the Bartender said hello, and the guy on the stool next to me said, " see, I told you." It was the Officer in plain clothes. He was checking out some guy shooting pool. I was not carrying at the time. But I will never forget it. :>)
