I certainly can not speak in reference to this case, but in general, over the years, I have found that the majority of people do not possess the intestinal fortitude to intentionally engage in a physical confrontation between other people. They will turn the other way, close their door, pull down the window shade, or drive/run away, before they will actually involve themselves. In a way, I can understand, with our litigation-obsessed society, why this is so.
