The jobs situation has improved ever since Obama was elected.

You found one meaningless statistic which supports your position. Here is a better one, total employment. Even though the working age population has increased by about 4 mil since O took office, the number of people actually employed is slightly down. From the same bls site.

If the jobs situation had improved, wouldn't you expect more people to be working, not less? Factor in the population increase, and that is a truly dismal performance.

From the low point of the dot-com bust in May 2003, Bush got employment back above when he took office in 10 months.
