Darn good question. Why do the police say they have an eyewitness that Zimmerman was on the ground underneath Martin, and was being beaten? What witnesses are you talking about........the one that appeared in some article titled: Why Negroes are dangerous people? The witnesses [both white] that came upon the two of them after the shot was fired said Zimmerman was standing over Martin and Martin was face down on the ground. And what's even more infuriating......is that you see nothing wrong with shooting and killing someone who may have punched you in the nose. I suppose it is possible the police lied. Anything is possible. The truth is getting quickly lost in all the political hyperbole. I'm afraid we'll never know what happened and justice will be a product of which political group has the most clout at the moment. Martin was talking to his girlfriend when Zimmerman was following him. She talked to him right up to when his headset was shoved off his head. Why can't we believe her? I repeat........Zimmerman outweighed Martin by nearly 100 lbs. Furthermore an adult can easily push around the average teen........just because they are in an assumed position of authority. I guess now that we know we live in a country where even the President does not worry about prosecuting the criminals, there's no point in hoping for justice in this case either. The laws aren't being prosecuted faithfully anymore. We've move beyond the rule of law. Now you're just being silly.
