Obama and the democrats have been so wrong on this issue for so many years. It is being proven that we can produce much more oil and that we have much more oil than they claimed. That is a fact. The Texas basin is better easier oil than the Bakken fields out west. It is more shallow and a well can be drilled in two weeks. Transport costs also are less. Obama does not want us to use domestic oil as we can while alternate energy is developed and ready for use...instead he harms our economy by forcing more oil to be purchased from abroad and rejects the Keystone Pipeline from Canada. The damage being done is immense, common sense is being disregarded by people simply to support a political party. Obama is damaging our economy immensely and the issue is not being discussed as it should...instead the focus is other issues as he drives us towards a ridiculous path... In talking with oil companies recently, the capacity we have to increase domestic production is tremendous...don't believe Obama. He is probably lying, otherwise he is woefully ignorant...either case, not the person we need as President.
