"The same with drivers using the hard drugs . They don't belong on our roads."

And yet you insist they do drive. Suspend all personal belief for a second here and just go with me on this one.
A junkie would rather not drive, but must because it's illegal. Junkies are pretty good drivers, they are paying a whole lot more attention to what they are doing than you are, they have a whole lot more to lose than you do and they know that. (unlike drunk drivers, each drug has it's characteristics). Junkies would rather not do a whole lot of things that you insist they do, while you stand aside and decry the behavior you've left open to them.
People claim that drugs are illegal to protect the kids and property. They want addicts not to intrude on their lives, and who can blame them. And yet, and yet, and yet, by making them illegal they INSIST that addicts intrude on their lives, I just don't get it.
Make it legal, the guy holds some menial job (or better if that works out), picks up, goes home, watches TV.
Busy bodies and old ladies.
Over eat (or whatever, stay in the sun too long, hang around long enough) and die.
Do heroin and die. You die your way and I'll die mine.

Trust me, that's a deal a heroin addict takes.
But no, you insist someone break into your house so you can tsk tsk.
You insist there be a humongous market for this shit that fosters all sorts of nonsense that does, in fact, go after your kids (you want to get drugs, ask a kid, trust me on this one) because it's such a lucrative business and because a fair number of kids are actively looking that way (Glamor, shoot em up) that impulse also being AMPLIFIED by the approach you have taken, thank you very much, all that nonsense graph stuff, guy stroking his goatee and smoking a pipe, ahem, this graphs shows yada yada yada. Nonsense. Blather.
