I will review that URL thanks. Here is what seems to be a campaign ad or will be. It is on ABC and shows Obama seemingly debating himself.

abcnews.go.com

A good site. I skimmed some of the older proposals and they all seemed to be as flawed as the present bill. They are full of so many twists, turns etc in the manner to collect , reimburse, enforce. They all seem like they were made by committees that were formed to make a horse and in the end came up with a camel.

Possibly that is why none of them saw the light of day. I wish they showed the votes on those bills if they had ever made it to the floor.

To me it demonstrates how politicians of any party should not attempt such large overhauls of the healthcare systems. This country is just too large and it only makes the federal government larger and more centralized power is not a healthy thing for any country. Isn't that what doomed the Soviet Union?

I believe we should leave most issues to the states whenever possible.

kenny...."In 1993, Republicans twice introduced health care bills that contained an individual health insurance mandate"....

So if it is proven to be against the law now it would have been against the law back then...Correct?

Course back then you didn't have the likes of obama appointed socialist kagan acting as a Supreme Court justice...and of course sotamyere.
