Ron Johnson is, of course, not the brightest bulb, and it was quite embarrassing that he beat Feingold. But going through his exercise is entertaining. The first page of hits if you google 'what if I can't afford birth control?' is all reverences to Johnson's solution, except for the 3 paid ads that show up on top,

Contraceptive Options
www.different-birth-control.com/
Learn About A Different Type Of Highly Effective Contraception.

Free Birth Control - Get it in your community | Bedsider.org
www.bedsider.org/
Local birth control finder tool.

Forget Birth Control Pill | Essure.com
www.essure.com/Birth-Control
Opt For Essure® - Permanent Birth Control without Surgery or Hormones

Ok, so going to the obvious best choice from the ads at the top, bedsider.com the steps are as follows:
1. Where do you llive?
- I enter a local zip code
2. Got health insurance?
- no for this exercise
3. Do you live with a partner or spouse?
- no for this exercise
4. How many kids do you have?
- none
5. What's your income?
- < $33k

Ok, we're done. The result:

You probably qualify for free birth control. Here's what to do next:

Find a health center near you.Make an appointment to get birth control.Ask them about free birth control options.Decide which method is best for you.

And guess what the health center near me is.

Ok, I'lll leave that one to the reader, but I don't think Ron is likely to have checked this out in advance. And he doesn't seem to have been keeping up with news in greater Walkeristan either:

I assume someone else has gone through this exercise, you never know with the lamestream media though.
