Not a problem, and I appreciate the question... sure, the buy signal was the next day, but the market still rallied 70 bucks from the lows, I don't buy and hold anything forever, I trade the market, so there's really nothing to be confused about... if I were a long term investor, then I would definitely buy and hold gold, but I'm not a long term investor in anything, I prefer to trade as I do... there's nothing inconsistent with being bullish a market and still taking a near term short position in that market, that's what trading is all about... I hope this helps to clear up any confusion, thanks for asking, please let me know if my answer wasn't helpful...

Also, if my SP model is near approaching a sell signal, I would suspect gold to take another hit, I much prefer being cautious...
