And also he appears to him in a vision which we know are always real , just like Jospeph Smith & the Angel Moroni & the Mormon Golden Tablets that mysteriously dissappear later & no one ever sees. Visions & signs were an acceptable form of recieving messages from the divine in those times, it is one thing to say that you heard something which could be tainted wives tales or satan's meddling but if you had a vision of the spirit , well thats something really attention grabbing . Visions & dreams are predominantly what the entire thing is about , it is what goat herders do alot of out on the range with plenty of time alone & no science ... that & there is no other God but our God , there is no way but HIS way & we don't know who you think you're worshipping but that is false .
