Who would you consider the primary intellectuals of the 19th and 20th century?

Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.

To that august group might be added Ludwig von Mises, Friederich Hayek, Milton Friedman minus his monetarist prescriptions, perhaps Thomas Sowell, and their intellectual descendants.

Weber had some good peripheral stuff to say, as did Heinlen.

Perhaps I begin to understand your cognition processes. You've had no exposure to serious analysis of the machinery of human progress. Instead, the opposite.
