The case is where it belongs now, under scrutiny from state and federal prosecutors who will look at all the evidence and decide about an indictment. But let's be real, no prosecutor wants to take a case to court without a strong expectation of winning. This may be a "he said, he said" case where one side can't speak for themselves, thus creating a mountain of reasonable doubt when it comes to a crime with a long sentence attached. Unfortunately it's yet another event where the yelling and screaming will outweigh the analytical process, and the folks who already hate The Others have yet another reason to feel riled. Sad.
