No matter what the evidence says, you're wanting to hang Zimmerman, aren't you? Wow, you have allowed the mainstream media to taint your thinking.

You are aware, of course, no one with a felony record or a domestic assault conviction can obtain/maintain a carry permit, right? No need to run a records check on the shooter. His carry permit is evidence that he has no serious record related to violence.

I don't know for sure where you get your information, but you might want to switch suppliers.

The DA/Prosecuting attorney is the one who makes decisions on whether or not to file charges ... no one else, and certainly not the investigating officer. That's one of the best parts of our judicial system.

Drug test for the shooter? Possibly so .. but everyone states he was not under the apparent influence of anything. Don't forget, Zimmerman was well known to the police in Sanford, as a Neighborhood Watch Captain. I'm sure they had every confidence Zimmerman wasn't using anything. If he was a druggie, or a drunk, they'd have known it. The drug tests for police officers are for liability purposes, that's all.
Zimmerman probably wishes now they had taken a screen.

Let's see, have I missed anything? Don't think so.

I understand you were addressing these questions to another poster. However, I also seem to recall you have received answers to all these same questions from other posters previously, and you are still asking the same questions. So, just thought the answers might need to be furnished in quantity, in order to let you better understand them.

Thanks. Stay away from the mainstream media. They have an agenda.

How do you know they didn't? Just because it hasn't been published?

How do you know they didn't? Just because it hasn't been published? Are you sure the father's girlfriend lives in the gated community? Or was trayvon returning to his father's girlfriends house through the gated community?

The skittles and iced tea story was invented too.

Well normally an alcohol test is administered by smell. Alcohol itself has no smell at all but all alcoholic beverages do. If the police don't smell it, or think somebody is drunk they don't just do a test. All autopsies include tests for drugs and alcohol. That is standard procedure. The Stand Your Ground law applies period. You cannot ignore the law. I think I figured out a large part of why why this whole affair went ballistic. When the Stand Your Ground law was passed in Florida, and this was probably 10 years ago...it was a HUGE deal on even the national stage at the time. There were all kinds of crazy predictions of shootings everywhere by angry people carrying weapons. It's been 10 years and this is the first time perhaps where the people were angry at the original law that has not been a problem to strike back.

How certain are you that it was not in self defense? TIA

You seem to have all the answers and all the details... were you there as an eye witness or what?

Were Skittles and Ice Tea actually found at the crime scene?

Re: "If that is true" [His father's fiancée lives there, and Martin was returning to her home after buying candy and a drink at a nearby convenience store.]

It is fact.

Where did you get the information that they hadn't? Instead of just saying it is "whacked". You sound like another lost boy who believes trash written in the newspapers. Better to wait for the investigation to be revealed.

Also, why didn't they pull the rap sheet of the shooter? (He had two charges on his sheet, one for assaulting an officer, and one for domestic violence). They looked for a police record for the dead kid but they didn't for the shooter. That's just wacked. Both should be looked at in any fatal shooting.

Also... I read that the LEAD INVESTIGATING OFFICER pushed (for two weeks) for a charge of manslaughter to be made... but was over-ruled by higher-ups in the department.
