Things worked pretty well in the 50's and 60's. Why not just go back to that?

You are always telling us how horrible that period was: segregation, no women's rights, pollution, billions in dire poverty in Asia and Africa. Now you want to go back to then?

What changed?

Globalization. High energy costs. Massive expansion of govt on all levels. Endless deficit spending by both parties. Excessive regulation.
Do you not concede that there are fundamental differences in the world which make a return to the 50's impossible? Do you want to replay WWII so that we can have lots of factory jobs rebuilding the world?
