When people from Florida and the midwest and other free market insurance states see their premiums go from $2,000 a year to $2,000 a month, they will feel the impact of government mandated coverages.

Even if Obamacare gets tossed out by the USSC or gets repealed, we cannot let the politicians replace it with anything that dictates mandatory coverages.

I think the current problem with the mandate has its roots in the original problem where a so-called compassionate society decided not to turn people away from emergency rooms even if they don't have insurance. Once you give away things for free, you know what happens. I think that the main way to fix the problem is to repeal that original law. Then everyone will automatically get insurance. Another reform idea is that ins companies must not be allowed to kick a person off of insurance once they provide it.
