[TI price]

Hi Mark:

TXN may be at a good entry point here. I saw the contra arguments earlier, but if the stock were truly overpriced in this range, then I think Amati holders would have been offered a stock deal instead of cash. The company's own actions tells me something about which currency it thinks is more valuable.

Anyway, I bought some.

Mark & JW - You guys are great. I understand the issue now!!!!!!
It seems hugh loss for big MO and a hugh gain for TI. How Lucent and Mo don't make an counter-offer is unbelievable. These are industrial gaints that need software application minds like yours.

I watched the options on Friday and many Jan & April 20s sold in 3/16 to 1/4 range. My intuition told me that either Monday (today) or Tuesday somebody will make a counter-offer to bid up the cost to TI.

Watching today, will post later if I see anything unusual. This thread is the great equilizer for the personal investor. We have all the specialist gurus we need. MOM & Dad paid alot for Business schools and My training tells me MORE MONEY on the way!
