She did get the taxes raised on the oil companies. But there is a back story to all of that and to Palin. She was the front person for a grand old ex gov Republican Wally Hickel. He pulled her up and bankrolled her for gov. And he was a true Alaskan and must of had a hard on for the oil companies.Raising the taxes was his idea.

The gas pipeline is no closer now than it has ever been. But we don't really need it. We have 10's of billions of barrels of heavy oil we are starting to produce now at these high prices.

Spring is very early this year.
