Datek does respond but usually only after they research a problem and find that the customer is at fault then they will post blow by blow how the customer screwed up. On a situation where there customers cant access them day after day, Oh well! As Rodney would say for 9.99 you actually want someone to be there when you want to trade.

goodluck

Datek isn't for daytraders.. it works for me most of today (with the exception of the opening bell), but the service is not always consistent. You're better off in this case to go to a broker that offers daytraders advantages in speed and execution (and especially consistency). For myself, Datek will do just fine. I don't know why you would look at Datek as a possible broker if you have a large balance to daytrade.. 9.99 is a lot if you only have 1000, but it's pennies to those with high a5 or 6 figure balances.
