william,
short term, sure they'll sell what they have and prices will drop. But aren't heavy political forces coming into play? They could drastically change the landscape, by closing factories or forcing businesses to redirect their efforts, cutting losses and leaving MU with a slightly brighter future. Are DRAM fabs seen as high risk money draining problems in Korea and elsewhere in Asia? Or do they have a lot of faith in them? Again, it seems to me that powerful political forces could act soon to force drastic changes.
