Both parties oppose (and generally should oppose) "getting things done" when they see the thing getting done as a negative. Bad action is often worse than inaction. The Republicans opposed getting Obamacare or anything like it done, the Democrats oppose entitlement reform.

The Democrats treat conservatives that way all the time, and to the extent any libertarians get enough prominence to be a target (which is rare) they are also treated that way by the Dems (and sometimes by the Republicans)
