Sergio, thanks for the article. To show you how foolish I am, I actually owned shares of CHK at the time of the margin calls - what I remember is seeing him buying the shares at higher and higher prices and thought the guy knows what he's doing. Overall, we have to admit the guy is smart being able to flip land like this, but unfortunately the gains have not gone to the shareholders. I remember reading that Ray Kroc considered McDonald's primarily as a real estate business. Recently there was a whole section in the WSJ on fracking: online.wsj.com
